Olsen's Pliva Perdigon Barbless
The 2015 World Fly Fishing Championships was a special competition for me and Fly Fishing Team USA. That year we won a team silver medal, and I won the bronze individual medal. Many of the fish I caught during the river sessions were lured by an olive perdigon with fluorescent accents. I came up with this pattern during practice when we stayed on the Pliva River. That lovely river provided the impetus for what has become one of my most reliable nymphs since.
